We provide a helmet for the tour. Please bring your own gear including gloves, jackets, elbow and knee guards. If you need us to arrange any gear, we can help you rent it out at additional charges.
Indian roads especially near the cities will have traffic at peak hours. The driving style in many parts of India can be described as chaotic! However if you follow the instructions of our escort rider, you will have a safe and enjoyable ride.
Trip Preparation
- A valid motorcycle driving license is mandatory for the tour. So all riders needs to carry the license in original along with their passport or aadhar cards at all times during the tour.
Saddle bags are the best option as we will be riding on the motorcycle for most of the journey. If you donot have saddle bags, we can help buy them for you at the prevailing prices.
The weather in India varies dramatically by region and by season. During the booking process, we will explain to you the expected weather and recommendation for attire depending on the season and destination.
An Important Note About Photography
Generally speaking Indians will be happy to take a photograph with travelers. However, it will be prudent to check with your escort rider if you want to take a photo of any person. Photography is not allowed inside temples and most places of worship. Many monuments will have extra charges to be paid if you want to use a camera. Kindly make this payment if you want to take photos at these monuments.
Insurance
The motorcycles we provide are insured.
However we DONOT provide any personal insurance for guests whether for health or accident.
Please organise your own personal insurance for accident or health as per your requirement.
