Itinerary-(12 days / 1450 KM)

Bangalore-Chikmagalur-Trasi-Murdeshwar-Gokarna-Karwar-Goa-Dandeli-Jog Falls-River Tern lodge-Bangalore

Day 1- Bangalore to Chikmagalur (245 KMs)
Motorcycle tour from Bangalore to Chikmagalur commences at 7 AM. The ride will take 4.5 hours. In the evening we will explore coffee plantations.
Day 2- Belur & Halebid Temples (80 KMs)
We will ride to the ancient twin capitals of Hoysala Kingdom, Belur and Halebid to appreciate the fantastic sculptures and temple architecture
Day 3- Agumbe Rainforest & Trasi (185 KM)
At 8AM we ride for 2.5 hours to reach the rainforests of Agumbe, home to the King Cobra! Another 2 hour ride will bring us to the coast at Trasi. with its pristine breaches.
Day 4- Murudeshwar (55 KM)
After breakfast we leave Trasi and ride for just over an hour to reach the picturesque village of Murudeshwar nestled between the western ghats and the Arabian Sea. We will visit the famous Shiva temple surrounded by Sea on 3 sides.
Day 5- Gokarna (80 KM)
We ride for 2 hours and reach Gokarna, one of the best beaches in India. The day is dedicated to lazing on the tranquil OM beach.
Day 6- Goa (135 KM)
A 3.5 hour ride will bring us to Goa. We will spend the next 3 days relaxing in the famous beaches of Goa, exploring Portuguese built churches and enjoying the legendary Goan hospitality.
Day 9- Dandeli (125 KMs)
Dandeli is a wildlife sanctuary and we will stay in a Jungle Lodge and indulge in a Jeep safari as well as a coracle ride over the River Kali
Day 10-Jog Falls (170 KMs)
We ride for 3.5 hours to reach Jog Falls, one of the biggest plunge waterfalls in India. Stay is planned in a homestay in a village near the Falls.
Day 11- River Tern (140 KMs)
A 3 hour ride will bring us to a lodge perched on a hill besides the Bhadra Reservoir and on the edge of a Tiger Reserve. We will do a Jeep Safari as well as a Boat safari to explore the wildlife.
Day 12- Return to Bangalore (285 KMs)
We checkout from the jungle lodge at 11 AM and ride 6 hours to reach Bangalore. End of tour.

Riding a Royal Enfield was a long cherished desire and it was fulfilled by 5 Senses Motorcycle tours. I took their 12 days tour of Western Ghats and it was a rode i will not forget for a long time to come! We rode through mountains, village roads and scenic highways adjacent the Arabian Sea. The wildlife safari at both River Tern and Dandeli were amazing. My favourite part of this itinerary was the ride through the Agumbe rainforests. What an experience! Goa was a great way to unwind after the eventful ride. Vijay was a fantastic guide and escort rider. He is a professional rider and helped us navigate through the cities as well as the mountains in a smooth manner. Go ahead and take this for a lifetime of memories!

The western ghats is a world heritage site and it was the perfect setting for our 12 day ride over 1500 KMs though forests, mountains and beaches. Vijay was a fantastic guide and helped us navigate through the various terrains and the city traffic. All the arrangements were impeccable.
